Pesos and dollars

Money goes in as pesos and a copy trading account holds another currency. This page counts what cTrader's list printed on 6 November 2026 about currencies and deposits, works one conversion on invented numbers, and lists what this site did not read: any peso or Bangko Sentral rule, and any payment method.
What the list prints about currencies
Of the 24 copy-flagged entries, 24 print the US dollar as a base currency, 18 the euro and 16 the pound. None prints the Philippine peso. For FxPro the list printed EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, PLN, AUD, ZAR, NGN, VND, THB, MYR, IDR. That includes 4 currencies of South-East Asian economies (VND, THB, MYR, IDR), and no peso.
The base currencies printed for the 24 copy entries
The list's field is the account's base currency. The peso does not appear in it. Source: ctrader.com/copy/brokers, read on 6 November 2026.
| Currency | Entries printing it |
|---|---|
| US dollar (USD) | 24 |
| Euro (EUR) | 18 |
| Pound sterling (GBP) | 16 |
| Singapore dollar (SGD) | 4 |
| Thai baht (THB) | 1 |
| Philippine peso (PHP) | 0 |
What follows
An account whose base currency is the dollar holds its balance, its profit and its loss in dollars. Money that comes in as pesos is converted once on the way in, and money that goes back out is converted once on the way out. Each conversion has a rate and may carry a charge from the bank, the e-wallet, the payment provider or the broker. A reader looking at the account in pesos is looking at a dollar number multiplied by a rate that moves.
Pesos to dollars, and one balance valued at two rates, on invented numbers
Invented figures, not quotes: PHP 29,000 converted at 58.00 pesos per dollar, and a USD 500 balance valued at two different rates. No bank's, e-wallet's or broker's rate or charge was read.
| Step | Arithmetic | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Pesos to dollars | 29,000 / 58.00 | USD 500.00 |
| The same USD 500 balance at 58.00 | 500 x 58.00 | PHP 29,000.00 |
| The same USD 500 balance at 56.00 | 500 x 56.00 | PHP 28,000.00 |
| Difference in pesos, with no trade made | 29,000.00 less 28,000.00 | PHP 1,000.00 |
Reading the conversion table
On the invented figures, PHP 29,000 becomes USD 500.00. The same USD 500 balance is worth PHP 29,000.00 at one invented rate and PHP 28,000.00 at another, a difference of PHP 1,000.00 that no trade caused. So the peso value of a copy account moves for two reasons: what the copied trades did in dollars, and what the rate did. The pages this site read give no rate and no charge, and the numbers above are made up to show the arithmetic.
Minimum deposits printed on the 24 copy entries
24 entries print a minimum deposit, in US dollars; the highest printed is USD 500. FxPro printed USD 100. Source: ctrader.com/copy/brokers, read on 6 November 2026.
| Minimum deposit printed | Entries |
|---|---|
| USD 0 | 5 |
| USD 1 to 10 | 3 |
| USD 11 to 100 | 11 |
| More than USD 100 | 5 |
Minimum deposits and minimum investments
5 entries print USD 0 and 5 print more than USD 100. Separately, each strategy prints its own minimum investment; on the 20 cards counted on 6 November 2026 these run from USD 100 to USD 50,000. The broker's minimum deposit and the strategy's minimum investment are two different floors, and the second is allocated out of the first.
Two floors and a rate
A beginner meets three numbers before the first copied trade: the broker's minimum deposit, the strategy's minimum investment and the rate at which pesos become dollars. The first two are printed in dollars on the pages read, the broker's on the list (24 entries print one) and the strategy's on its card. The third is printed on none of them. Of the 20 cards, 6 print a minimum of USD 100 or less and 2 print more than USD 1,000, so the dollar floor of the strategy alone can differ by a factor of five hundred between two cards, and each dollar of it is bought with pesos at a rate this site has not seen.
What this site did not read
It read no rule of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and no page on what may be sent abroad, on what a bank or e-wallet charges, or on which payment methods FxPro accepts from the Philippines. It does not say any route is allowed or not allowed. The questions are the broker's and the reader's bank's: which methods, in which currency the money arrives, who converts and at what charge, and how long a withdrawal takes.

Questions a beginner asks about copying
Can an FxPro account be held in pesos?
The list did not print the peso among FxPro's currencies on 6 November 2026. Ask FxPro.
Are the conversion numbers real?
No. They are invented to show the arithmetic.
Does this site name a payment method?
No. None of the pages read states which methods FxPro accepts from the Philippines.
Does the profit in dollars equal the profit in pesos?
Not by itself: the rate on the day of conversion sits between them.
The broker this site links to
This site links to FxPro, which cTrader's list marks as a copy-enabled broker. A copied trade is a leveraged contract on a price, not ownership of anything. Read the terms before you decide anything.
