FxPro and copy trading: what a beginner can check first

This site is not the broker and takes no money from the reader. The page sets down what cTrader's list printed about FxPro on 6 November 2026 and the questions a first-time reader in the Philippines can put to the broker.

What kind of thing a copied trade is

FxPro quotes its instruments as contracts for difference. Such a contract is an agreement on how a price changes between two moments, and the holder owns none of the thing priced. cTrader Copy forbids copying trades on symbols that represent stocks and shares, so a copy on this route is never a way to hold shares of a company, local or foreign.

Leverage lets a small amount of margin carry a larger position, so a price move acts on the account by the size of the whole position. For FxPro the list printed a maximum leverage of 1:30 and a minimum deposit of USD 100 on 6 November 2026. Those are the list's figures from a public page; the account terms are the broker's.

Where the regulator names come from

On 6 November 2026 cTrader's broker list printed these regulators for FxPro: FCA UK; SCB - SIA Bahamas. That is the list's text, and this site compared it with no register. No page of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines opened for this site, so nothing here says what that authority holds about any firm.

The company that holds a client's account is named in the client agreement, and its exact legal name, not the brand on the website, is what a register search needs. The page on the SEC and its register sets out the routine.

What is left to ask FxPro before the first deposit

cTrader's page of brokers says copy availability depends on local regulations and on the broker, and its front page says availability of live copy trading may vary by broker, jurisdiction and applicable regulatory requirements. The list marks FxPro with a copy flag but does not say whether a resident of the Philippines can use the service. That is a question for FxPro, in writing.

Ask which currencies an account can be held in: the list printed EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, PLN, AUD, ZAR, NGN, VND, THB, MYR, IDR for FxPro and no peso. Ask which account type is offered, since only hedging accounts can copy, and whether a demo account can follow a strategy, which no page this site read answers.

FxPro is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines and holds no licence from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. An account is opened with a company regulated outside the Philippines - the group is authorised by the FCA in the United Kingdom and CySEC in Cyprus - so a resident deals with a foreign firm and the protections of a locally licensed one do not apply. Nothing on this site is investment advice. On 6 November 2026 cTrader's own broker list printed these regulators for FxPro: FCA UK; SCB - SIA Bahamas. Whether FxPro's copy service is open to a resident of the Philippines is something to ask FxPro.

The broker this site links to

This site links to FxPro, which cTrader's list marks as a copy-enabled broker. A copied trade is a leveraged contract on a price, not ownership of anything. Read the terms before you decide anything.
